For me, I order first via taobao. And used the consolidation company like 4PX, etc to ship to SG.

simply create a "LOCAL" address for your shipping which is the shipping address of the consolidation shipper.

When you buy from TMALL or their flagship stores, select shipping to LOCAL address. Track your shipment, once it has been signed, contact the customer service for the shipper (eg. 4PX). They will help you arrange to ship to SG.

Cheaper this way, no need to go thru any QOO10 marked up sellers. I did this for most of my china made products. No need to pay additional premium to qoo10 sellers since they are doing it the same way.

Nothing difficult to self ship xiaomi products to SG honestly.

Your cost is only;

(RMB899 + RMB43) * 1.03 = RMB970.26 == SGD212
or
(RMB1099 + RMB43) * 1.03 = RMB1176.26 == SGD257

Very rare that phones comes dead, but if you really suay, then that's too bad.

4PX allow shipping with battery already???

Sadly, if only they put a least newer Snapdragon 620 chip inside better than the X10 chip with out-dated PowerVR 6200 that is crap. Guess due to pricing issue.
MediaTek is cheap, good in benchmark on paper and slow in releasing source code.

Xiaomi keep using MediaTek chip which is always slower in getting Android updates, actually any devices using MediaTek will lost out in terms of Android updates as compare to Qualcomm or Exynos chip.

Realised 5.5 a tad small, coming from mega

I believe it's due to that Qualcomm is trying to let SD620 first launch on the Samsung Galaxy A9, which has yet to be launch yet.

I saw and touched the xiaomi note 3 yesterday at a shop. Not switched on but it's a silver white set.

My view is purely external and feel compared with my iphone6

Quite thick
Finishing is not as smooth or as nice as the ip6 but given the price i think is pretty good.
Quite excited about the phone arrival next week

You are actually right.

The market segment for this phone are those who just purely want a phone for the functional use of surfing, messaging, calling and this type of users may be well be 50% of all the smart phone users

I intro the first xiaomi note to some of colleagues who were using note 2 or note 3 back then and they are still happily using it today.

In less than half a year, Redmi Note 2 is being succeeded with the Redmi Note 3!

Metallic unibody design, fingerprint sensor and the 4000mAh battery are the signature features of Redmi Note 3.

Helio X10 processor confirmed

it will arrive in singapore maybe 3-6 months after china release.

singapore phone got no sim lock or geolock if i remember correctly due to IDA regulations.

which is why alot of resellers grab phones sold in Singapore.

They quite literally dump to Singapore market, our used phones we sell to ah beng shops often end up in Indonesia or India etc :s22:

they will keep launching new phones every 6 months at mass sale low profit margin to grab market share

the developing countries in the world all got market for cheap and decent smart phones that other phone makers are really doing bad job for the low end market.

the headache though..

** every 6 months release in Singapore. Then one month later announce new model in China.

wah lan ehz :s22::s22:

make me not feel like buying
