Just received a update, 8.5.4.0
Pretty major update, a lot of changes
Likely the last major update for MIUI 8, next will likely be the MIUI 9~

From the MIUI forums, it seems that it is already the MIUI 9 leh. It is the nightly build though, not stable.

the confusing part is, update notification indicated its a nightly build, after the phone is updated, the software info says its a stable build.

Downloaded MIUI9 7.8.1 but haven't flash it yet. How is the stability of MIUI9 btw?

I downloaded it from http://pan.baidu.com/s/1jI7e80A

notification light -> pulse notification light turn on ?

local set can go to service center.

Or if you find too troublesome, use the noled app, can set reminder and from far away can also see the screen

https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...d.notify&hl=en

the noled app can also have sound when fully charge - this is what you looking for in previous post.

I like this app so much that I donated US$1 to the author last time
I've been using the app for more than one week but it didn't seem to work. I don't get any icon or dot showing me any missed notification at all though I have enabled for sms WhatsApp calls and battery full. I also give it permission for accessibility. Do u know what's wrong?

Did you enable autostart (in both app and also miui permission list) and also lock it in memory ?

Long press menu button (left button), then swipe down the noled and you will see the blue lock sign on top right of the app.

No NFC. I think so far Redmi series don't come with NFC.

Sent from Xiaomi REDMI NOTE 4 using GAGT
Hmm any other phones like xiaomi note 4 but with NFC? Would like to use dash visa with it.

Moto Z Play, roughly same spec but with NFC. Price wise a bit expensive compared to RMN4.
