Are u sure Note 4X is at the same price point at 4A? Note 4X is definitely better than 4A.

I have both phones.

Bought the $169 from shopee. The red light constantly blinking for more than an hour and not able to boot up. Is it due to flat battery?

If you are charging with provided charger and it is still red light. It might be faulty wire or charger or battery.

Try use a different wire.
Try use a different charger.

If persist, just replace it.

Is like buying insurance, u nvr know when you need it

So far I using less than 1 month only

Difference is only like $10-20 for 6 months warranty

I have a difference opinion on this.

Since it is shop warranty, I generally do not trust shop warranty especially if it's like some months down the road. They might just blame it on user problem.

So I wouldn't really pay extra for extended warranty, and just make use of the existing warranty (albeit short) to thoroughly test out the functions and exchange for a new set if anything goes wrong. Shops are more willing to exchange new set if it's just a few days to a week of discovering problems with the phone.

Of course, also note the price point too. Since it's really such a good price, I'm happy to take the phone with short warranty period without topup for extended warranty.

Seems more expensive leh.

I bought my 3GB/16GB model at $158, with Qoo10 gift card and Q-points reducing it to $150.

I think it was sold even cheaper before though.
