Need some recommendations on a portable amp to go with my mee p1.

Budget around $300

Hmm fiio have many models, you should go n try out 1st.
iPhone original music player not as good, please buy iAudioGate player, the sound totally was different.

Does that help with spotify?

The P1 sounded fine when I as playing on my Iphone via spotify. Not at its optimum maybe but it sounded decent.

Can look at the Fiio E12A, should be within your budget. iFi nano iDSD seems to have good value for price/performance too.
