Hi all the gurus out there,

I read from the thread that we may book the woodland -> JB Sentral tickets via easybook. But can i know after i gotten the confirmation email, do i need to collect the tickets from the counter on that day itself ? Sorry for asking as this will be the first time purchasing tickets via easybook. What about JB side do i also need to collect the tickets at the counter on that day itself. Sorry for asking so stupid qns.

When you book with easybook, they will issue the instruction regarding the ticket. All you need is wait for them to send you confirmation and e-ticket. That's all you need. print out the e-ticket bring along with you for boarding which ever way. As I had mentioned in the past post, the ticket is the same and issued by KTM itself. There is no difference whether you book with easybook. Only main different is you have to wait an extra day.

If you have already booked your ticket, they will send you an email regarding your booking, then another email on the confirmation with e-ticket attached.

Yes, JB Sentral to KL Sentral. Night sleeper train at 10.30 pm from JB Sentral. Reaching KL Sentral at 7 am. No more 1st class sleeper coach. Cost RM39 or RM45 (lower deck).
fyip

there is still 1st class, costing more than rm100.

Currently the 1st class sleeper cabin is undergoing upgrading and refurbishing work so it is not available until further notice.

ah, ok...only 2 weeks ago they tried to make me buy 1st class which i regretted for not doing so.

It seems that tickets for the 1st Class sleeper can be bought over the counter and the sleeper coaches are only available every other day due to upgrading works.

If you're referring to the JB shuttle train service, it's free-seating.

when are you going in? If weekdays should not be an issue with buses. In fact, don't really need to wait for train schedule. Just take any bus that cross border will do. SBS or SMRT bus, use ezlink. CW buses, pay $1.

Blue colour MY bus which ferry factory workers, ask driver before board, RM2. These buses normally park at coach waiting area, unlike the above mentioned buses. Usually no problem unless driver not interested to earn extra $$.

Free seating so even you have seat number might end up people taking your seat. It is just a 5 min rides. No difference even you do not have a seat. Book from easybook cheaper as well as there is a 5% discount.

No use getting seat no. once you walk into the train, it is free sitting. Frankly,. the seat no does not tally with what is in the train I think.

By the way, not 5% discount. I think it is 0.5% off. I have been paying RM19.++ for 4pax several times already, JB-SG,

Anybody experiencing bad customer service with Easybook? Their customer service officer responding to emails is quite terrible and unhelpful. Encountered some problems with booking and they overcharged me, and did not accede to a refund when there was a glitch in their platform.
