i received my Toshiba unit and it was labeled made in thailand, the installer told me it was assembled in thailand but parts from japan. the compressor though much smaller in footprint, produces noise which is significantly higher and audible (at full load) than my Daikin and Mitsubishi.
What Toshiba model you using?

Sent from LGE LG-D855 using GAGT

Any feedbacks on LG air con? I'm thinking of getting as the price seems cheaper than Japanese competitors

Hi bro,

You can actually call up some vendors to ask for quote first, I do believe LG is quite common now a days.

Are you able to verify if it's brand new and not recondition ? Not aire prices are a good 200-300 cheaper than everyone else. Kinda suspicious

I've taken picture of the carton when it arrive with the serial numbers.
It tally with the items install. I register online ok. Go to LG service centre to collect the $300 vouchers and they key in all the items serial number.
Do you think is a recond set?

is midea popular here? compared to samsung/LG?

I went to Gain City previously and was told by the Staff there that if you want to get Samsung aircon, you might as well go for Midea as Samsung is made in China which is same for Midea so why pay the extra money for the brand, Samsung.

But do note that Midea has many aftersales issues which installers might not recommend so install at your own risks though, my advice is to get any Japanese aircon manufacturers still better.
