SO application

Education: Local deg
Date of application: Early June
Status: In process
PES Status: A
Last IPPT result: Passed
CCA: Leadership role (2IC)
Others: Career Change

Education: Private deg
Date of application: 20 May
Status: In Process
PES Status: N/a
Last IPPT result: N/a
CCA: NCC (corporal, lol)
Others: Career Change (but actually more of fresh grad as I've only started working for 6 months)

Not harbouring any hopes since I'm still not contacted. The same thing happened last year where my status was In Process for 3 months; it only changed to Unsuccessful when I sent an email to recruitment. Haha.

Education: NTU (2nd Lower)
Status: In Review (the last I heard on 19 May)
PES Status: B1
Last IPPT result: Silver
NS: 3SG
Others: Fresh Grad

Happened to chance upon this thread and I'm also like one of you guys out there waiting for any notification. It's really frustrating but I guess that's how it goes.

18/2: Applied for SO
24/3: Submission of Documents
21/4: Panel Interview
19/5: Emailed ICA Recruitment and was told still under consideration

Even till now, I've yet to receive anything. Can't seem to get through the hotline so I've emailed in again to see how it goes. Not getting my hopes high though :(

The starting pay for a mid career private deg (pass) holder will still be cap at 3.2k no matter how much you have earned during your previous job.

Wow. As compared to spf.. even a female with a pass private degree earns 3.6k. I wonder if this is also true for people with relevant work experience (other uniformed org) crossing-over to ICA as an SO for a mid-career switch.

2 weeks is too short for them to call you...we r looking at 4-8weeks for them to get back
