Looking to get a new pc, will not be OC-ing.

Some components that I wish to have:

Mobo: No idea here. Would like one with wifi + bluetooth
CPU: i7-6700
GPU: Single GTX 1070 (Palit SJS? $688) no need multiple gpu
Storage: 250GB SSD + 1TB HDD
RAM: 8? or 16?
Casing: Looking for mid-tower. Window not necessary, white colour preferably :s12:

can anyone advise on the other components (no need peripherals, monitor)? hopefully the total price can be lesser than 2k (the lower the better :s22:) likely will just go to PCT and get all from there

MSI H110i PRO AC + i5 6500 @418
Pailt SJS GTX 1070 @688
Kingston DDR4 8GB @50
SF Ledex 550W Gold @139
Samsung 850 evo 250GB @139
WD 1TB @75
Corsair 450D@ 179

Total: 1688

All prices quote from PCThemes.

Well i downgrade ur cpu cos if u dun need to work with that high cpu or not.
As for mobo there are many but choose cost saving for u.
Casing wise u might need to check, cos i know this have white verison.

Hi looking to get parts for a new PC.

Would greatly appreciate if you could help :D
NO OC/SLI needed. Mainly used for gaming + photo editing.

Parts that I would need recommendation for are.

Casing - If possible compact/small but to be able to fit in 1080.
Mobo - onboard WIFI
Processor -
RAM - 16gb

If possible, would like to budget those 4 mentioned parts to below 1k.
Already have PSU/GFX/SSD/HDD

MSI H110i PRO AC + i7 6700 @583
Kingston DDR4 16GB @100
Thermaltake Core V1 @79

Total: 762

prices quote from PCThemes.

Was thinking of i7 because I read that dx12 games will be able to make use of multi core? Unless i5 will be good enough.

well i5 also the same cores as i7 just that i7 have HT. but i still believe that i5 is still acceptable in gaming.

If u want to OC get a z170 board and a 3rd party cpu cooler as well.

Next is the case u using can fit which one then buy the boards that fits.

Thanks.

In addition, what is the best monitor to go with single GTX 1080?

Anything @1440p or above resolution and 60Hz or more refresh rates.

Anyway I dun even know your budget and needs , it's very hard to give u reco.

I mean like almost any monitor that specific can be the best of its own.

Hi guys,

My com just crashed.

Currently i have 3 x 22 inch monitor setup (16:10) and would like to retain the monitors. using
1 x DP
1 x hdmi to dvi

What rig can i build with a budget of $800 sgd? inclusive of OS and possibly 16gb ram and OEM OS. How much does OS cost these days?

I will get new HDD. i believe my HDD crashed.

So with $800, i will get:

CPU + MOBO (i3 is ok)
1TB HDD
16gb RAM
Casing
PSU
Graphics card (necessary? or can i use onboard?)
OEM OS

I still think u will need a GPU cos onboard most likely need to get h170 to have 3 display working. I mean if onboard GPU is good for you den use it.

anyway since its ur hdd spoil den change hdd can already. why build another one?

nv i forget that u need DP, which need to really need to go find, but dun think that there is a lot of onboard have dp.

Not sure about that, because, i dun usually build a gpu with more than 3 display. but u can try to source for the gpu and see if capable of doing so or not.

Ok thanks a lot. Just one question.
There are also graphics card close to $100 that can support 3 monitors. Why do we go for this one that costs $200?
