Filco Majestouch 2 Convertible, still rock solid~ No frills, and just works without any softwares.

I used to use a Filco Majestouch 2 with Cherry MX red switches. Now, I use a Leopold FC660C and am looking to my next Topre keyboard - possibly a Realforce 87UB with 55g uniform actuation. Once you go Topre, you can never go back! but oh, what an expensive hobby this is becoming...

Has anyone tried shipping kbs from taobao? How much does shipping cost on average?

I'm looking at the iKBC which sells for only ~$90 SGD on taobao before shipping costs...

is that price accurate? it says $39 yuan only... sounds too good to be true haha. Like that the iKBC is only $100 after shipping... and xtreme solution is selling it for $180

Hi guys, I have been thinking about getting a mechanical keyboard but cannot really justify the price tag to myself.

What are some affordable mechanical keyboard models? No need to be backlit, no need media and macro keys. I just need a simple keyboard for typing and light gaming. Preferably, to have keys near mx blue but quieter if possible.
Thanks in advance!

One of the cheapest KB around using Cherry MX switches (blue in this case). Singapore brand, also sold in Challenger:

If you prefer red or brown switches (quieter) then following sale items are really good deals:

http://www.lazada.sg/coolermaster-quick-fire-ultimate-cherry-mx-brownblack-10014069.html

If you don't mind tiong brand then more cheap KBs using Cherry MX switches:

http://www.lazada.sg/ajazz-firstblo...herry-mx-redswitches-ak47-export-7914132.html

Whats more there are plenty of promo codes available for Lazada where you can get between $5-15 off. ;)

39RMB for shipping is about right for small parcels. TaoBao shipping is much cheaper compared to US forwarders. :)
