I am a Newbie to headphone. Comparing Bose QC35 vs Song MX1000. Have being reading reviews on the internet and mostly are saying Sony is better?

I use it for general music and watching movies, any Seniors can advice which one to choose better the 2?

Bose the Sound quality isn't that good as Sony MDR-1000X.
I tested both before, Bose disappoint despite the bass it's very
good as well as comfort level.

Musical performance wise Sony MDR-1000X is the better choice.
FYI I used Spotify to test both not loseless.

How much did you pay for the Sony MX 1000? I'm planning to buy one too. Wonder if it is cheaper to buy in Japan instead

I tried the Onkyo W800BT at ISSE yesterday, won my "most impressive gear" aware.

The bass is amazing and just right, the present is there but not overpowering. For a true wireless earphones, it's the first one that I tried that can play for extended period without losing connection between the left and right sides. Granted that this is played in a room with 10+ bluetooth connections in the air, that's fantastic to me.

Right earpiece can be used as a bluetooth earpiece, that's a bonus to me.

Only complaints that I have (and they are minor nitpicking complaints) are that the mids and highs are VERY SLIGHTLY recessed.

But given that these are true wireless IEMs that are source independent, this is a MUST-BUY for me.

Luckily my colleague is in Japan this week, so I quickly ask her to hoot one for me if she saw it there.

If I not wrong, amazon don't ship this MDR1000X to SG
so need comgateway etc services

Currently amazon rate if I not wrong is 1.46 SGD per 1 USD.

Never use amazon rate. You'll always get a better rate from your credit card.

Why get from amazon?
Sony store in sg got 10% off, I thought someone already mentioned it?

You could buy amazon USD$200 for $253 with cybermonday $50 voucher + $10 mastercard voucher from Qoo10 and USD$25 discount from Amex (AMEXSG25). The remaining amount Amex cashback credit card. If you use Amazon often , you will also get extra $10 from gift card promotion.

All in all including GST, you can buy the headphone for around SGD$450. :)

Rather just wait for Sony to cut the price but such range
especially in the MDR-1A line, unlikely to happen.
MDR-1A price along with the Z7 is still at the same pricing
no change for 2 years now.

You can get from overseas but no warranty, usually local
is 1yr + 3 months when you register online.
You still bring to service center to service but get ready
to pay high price for import model repairs.
