Hoot the ALO Reference 8 cable if you are able too... Totally worth it :s13:

But anyway the default Litz cable provided already quite sweet.
If you find it lacks punch and power, you want more of it then ALO Ref 8 cable is adds power but it would probably be a bit more bassy.

Litz on Andromeda gives you a more relax sound.
Reference 8 on Andromeda is more aggressive.

Bought a new 'DAP', didn't really need a new phone but SH offer too good to pass up....seriously, with HiFi Quad DAC enabled, very powerful and sound is.....anyway better than my Xperia Z Premium.

I tried the vega and andro and i liked the andro
Very open n detailed sound.
Dont hear any hiss also

I don't think local sets come with the H3, I believe reading somewhere that maybe US ones have it....not sure. Here's a pic of the B&O IEM that came with mine...

DOn't ask me how it sounds like as I've not bothered to use it. I'd jumped straight to my IE800 and CA Jupiter, I've also been trying it out with some of my cans.....below is a pic of it with a DT770 Pro 250 Ohm

Just plugged in...running for around 15 minutes so far so take my early impressions with a pinch of salt.

The imaging so far is way more holographic than the x20, a lot more depth than the x20. The depth in soundstage now is HUGE, with musical cues all the way at the back and front of the speakers, very 3D, very impressive. (X20 seems a lot flatter and 2D)

Seems to be warmer than the x20 as well, with around the same details as the Sabre DAC, although not as upfront, which might be a bane or boon depending on your preference or system.

Will let it run in further and test out the headphone section as well.

fantastic end game portable. no hiss, sounds damm good even before break in.
the andros are totally in a different world compared to my xba a3!
