When I am in this thread, I sometimes feel that the comments for 可乐 are like self advertisement especially when the comment is the one and only one comment in this whole forum.

Personal experience, I contacted him for an itinerary with mentions of where we prefer to go, what we prefer to do and where we prefer not to go, when he mentioned he was available for my travel dates. He was friendly throughout and mentioned he will get back with the proposal soon. He did not get back to me and when I asked him about it again 2 weeks later, he just mentioned he is booked for the travel date already. I was expecting him to refer to other drivers but he did not even bother to do so.

I think there might be a communication breakdown somewhere between you and 可乐。 I have used his services twice and had also recommended him to my friends and colleagues and all had compliments for his service.

Please call 可乐 to enquire on his prices. You can say recommend by 茉莉 and see if he could offer you a better price.

Initially i felt the same when reading thru some of the comments here, but after contacting him recently for my upcoming trip. He is very prompt on his reply, at one point, he even leave me voice msg on whatsapps to explain on my quries. He also reverted to me that he is not available on the dates i want and say he can ask his friends to take over. He then follow up a few days later to confirm if i still need the service.

Just had a marvelous trip by 可乐。

Really recommend him.. price is good + really know a lot of stuff.

Ours is only 1 day tour but he managed bring us to lomantic and exhilarating location.

Wife and I really enjoyed a lot.

Plus this driver will take a lot of photo and create a video montage for you.

Highly recommend!!!!!!!

Will book my next trip again during June with him for a longer stay.

May I know how much he quote you? I got him to quote, after seeing the quotes and routes, I think it's overpriced. His friendly at 1st, after checking with him the price and sound him that it's quote is a bit overpriced, attitude changed. If I used his service + air ticket, I think use travel agency and take package cheaper.

Hello wenbin~ he quoted lowesttttt price is 6500 flat per day after nego but still find it a lil ex. This is for 5 pax and according to him, its a bigger vehicle.

Is this the normal rate? First time bringing old folks there, noob here. I am left with 2 days F&E in taipei but a bit lost on what to do as my mum's knee is not that good.. any suggestion from experts here?

Went to taipei during Xmas period with wifey and a toddler (< 2 yo). Planned this trip at the last minute， so I came to the forum to source for driver for a day out to Jiufen and Shifen.

In the end, confirmed Pudding (+886 955 577 675) for the 1 day trip. His whatapps reply was very prompt. I dropped him a message when i landed. Lucky i did that because his phone hung and lost my contact details.

Had a good chat with him as it was quite nice to understand the culture from a local. He brought us around like he was a tour guide. Helped us to take a lot of photos. With a toddler in hand, safety and cleanliness are very important. He is a careful driver and his cab is very clean (and he allow us to change our toddler diapers in his car)

We are very satisfied with his service, hence for this review post.

Good Taiwan Taxi Driver - Affordable and Friendly (Ah Hui)

Hey everyone,

I just comeback from 8 days trip to Taiwan Taichung > Cingjing > Cingjing Minsu > 合歡山 ＞ 情境農場 ＞ Taipei. I would highly recommend our friendly driver (Jacky, ah Hui). Overall, the price is reasonable and along the trip he bring us to go nice places to eat. Along the 8 days trip, he even treat us to eat dinner. He really take good care of us like a older brother and help us take very nice photos.

Just completed my 8d7n trip: taichung ->cingjing -> hualien -> taipei

Our driver is 阿辉+886 988 090 976 (whatsapp).

I would strongly recommend him for his excellent service. Throughout the trip, he is like what most of the people mentioned here - a tour guide, a big bro and a good friend. He recommended and treated us a lot of 小吃 and also bought us breakfast/dinner. Of course, in return, we treated him too.

He is very familiar with the tourist attractions around Taiwan. On some days, when we have more time to spare, he will recommend us some places to go. At the same time, he is very accommodating too. He will bring you to wherever you want to go.

His car is huge and comfortable. When we can, we talk to him during the drives. Otherwise, if we feel tired, he will just let us sleep (eg 3 hours trip from Hualien to Taipei). Its a long journey for him, but dont worry, cos he is really professional!

All in all, I feel very lucky to have engaged him. Will definitely contact him again when i go back Taiwan next time.

Hi! Looking for advice/recommendations for driver for 5 pax from Cingjing to Taichung for 1 day? Looking to go to sun moon lake,Ito thao pier, the cable car station, formosan aboriginal cultural village and then to taichung. Also, what is the rough pricing. THANKS

any idea isit easy to get 5-seater cab in taipei? or is uber/ grab usable? Travelling with elderly n baby to certain outskirt (sanxia, shenkeng) but don't need a full day service.
