Free Nier ps4 themes available on Japan PSN store (requires Japan psn account). They are static themes but all the system icons are changed, so it's not just a wallpaper. Each has a piece of music too.

Tried the demo recently, loved the music and character design, game play not bad (action, huge bosses, reminds me of God of War but robots instead) but somehow I feel like something's missing somewhere.....

Saw someone cleared this game story in 7 hours. But its only for 1 ending. There's multiple endings if you wanna grasp the full story. So if you're a type of person who dont like playing the same story multiple times, with just minor changes to each run, then this game is not suitable for you. Unless you dont mind quality > quantity.

I myself already bought this game. The OST in this game is pretty much already worth it for me.

Damn ex sia, $80 for a 7 hr game (single playthrough).

Pretty much how most modern games work nowadays. But if its quality 7 hours, then sure. Most RPG nowadays main story also pretty short, its cause of those filler fetch quests and such which prolong the duration.

Erm, RPG where got 7 hours one. RPG you need to level up, it's not like you can skip all those filler fetch quests and go straight to beat the final boss. (This is not Zelda BotW where you can go kill final boss in 10 min.) Surely the 7 hrs already included doing enough of those filler fetch quests. That makes this a really short game, more like $20 indie psn games, like Child of Light - dont get me wrong, Child of Light is quality 10+hrs, but it's not us$60. If this is really 7hr, this is more like Transformers Devastation. The filler is in making you play it on multiple difficulties, SSS every level, find all collectables. Again, not us$60.

Dont get me wrong, I dont mean RPG's story nowadays are as short as 7 hours. I mean their story are also pretty short these days as compared to the past, but definitely not 7 hours short thats for sure.

But since its NieR (Drakengard) we are talking about, the series is pretty famous for being short story which requires multiple runs to fully complete the story.

I do agree though the price is pretty hefty for such a game. I myself was expecting it to be SGD60+ at most. But I personally would give it a chance to see whether is it fully worth the price I paid for.

What? nier is only 7 hours of gameplay? thats too short..

nier automata is abt 20 hours based on reviews. the game producer did state the story will be short but not this short. 5-7 hours is usually first person shooter like battlefield or titanfall.
