Better off to deposit with CIMB:

Fastsaver: 1% pa for $50K. No gimmicks and no strings attached.
Starsaver: 0.8% pa with no cap. No gimmicks and no strings attached.

Hey guys..

Need some insights on private banking platform..

How is the saving/ fixed deposit interest rate on private banking platform in banks like credit suisse, UBS, deutsche bank etc?

Even for local bank's private banking platform, is the interest rate higher?

Thanks

Just want to ask your opinion. Say I have about $70k in BOC. The bonus interest is applicable to the first $60k however anything above $60k and up to a million gets 0.6%.

Do you think it's better to put anything above $60k into CIMB Fastsaver to earn the 1%?

Thank you.

It's actually 1% for BOC - 0.6% bonus + 0.4% base
