Hi guys, me and my friend are building a pc for the first time and need recommendation 😁 this pc will be mainly for gaming and some video editing.

Our budget was originally around 1.4k so we have picked these parts.

CPU + MOBO :
i5 7600k + Asus z270k

CPU Cooler :
Cryorig H7

CASE :
Cosair 270R

GPU :
MSI 1060 6GB OCV1

RAM :
G.skill ripjwas 8gb

STORAGE :
(Ssd) Samsung 850 evo 250gb
(Hdd) Seagate Barracuda 1TB

PSU :
SuperFlower Leadex Silver 550W

My friend also wanted to include a wifi card to his build as well. Is there any recommendations?

Who will this PC belong to? Assuming it is his cause u said his build..

PC something wrong, will you go through thick and thin to diagnose for him? If not, kindly direct your Friend to the forum and ask for himself, as it would be better for him to learn by himself.

Parts wise I would actually go for the 1600 AM4 platform

Just want to ask whether the wifi would be able to handle gaming? Because I read online ac would be better. Should I fork out a little more for the ac version or will n just do fine? :)
