Dbs in Taipei if you intend to change big amt.
Otherwise, bring cash and walk into any bank of Taiwan/Megabank will do.

thanks calken20! any service fee involved in changing in the DBS, Taiwan or Megabank?

if I don't have enough sgd with me and need to buy something, is it better to pay using my credit card or withdraw twd from atm machine?

Taiwan n mega no service charges in town.
Dbs min 100ntd or 1% whichever is higher.
If no money of course use CREDIT CARD la, u tell me what other choice you have?
You can withdraw but then have u activated your card for overseas withdrawal?

The way that you are asking a question here seems like you are seriously running out of cash.

Depends on how often is your trip too.
When was your last n next?
If within a year, why not keep the old card and use?
Top up is cheap too.
