No point as far as charging tech can be improved.
Battery tech is still far from taping on such quick charge tech.
Take for example, my XZ using UCH 12W charger which supports
Quick charge 3.0.
The charging time is still around 2 hours drop from default charger
of around 3 hours.
Check with some, they say not fast enough.
Samsung s8 wise, not stated nor they have whitepaper to see
the technical aspect of the phone.
My suspect is maybe for S8, is still on QC2.0.
Even so, you need a QC compatible charger.
If unsure of the list of charger, can always download from
Qualcomm website.
Sony FTW anyway, Sony XZ lines up does support QC3.0 but you need the optional UCH12W charger.
However charging speed can never be instant like instant noodle.
Still need at least few hours, if battery can be instant.
Electric cars in UK do not need 24 hours to build charge already.
