Anyone having problems renewing Avast free edition ?

As per topic.

Despite clicking "renew" and selecting the free antivirus option, they don't seem to acknowledge my renewal.

It will jump to another part with the words at the top "thank you for activation Avast Free Antivirus" but back at the main page, it still ask me to renew my license.

No issue with renewing the free license on my PCs. Perhaps updating the program to latest version might help. Or simply doing a uninstall and install as the last resort.

I have tried out updating the program to latest version but to no avail. I guess have reinstall it again.

Either that or change antivirus. I'm also using Avast now after 3 yrs since I last used it. I've used AVG, Avira & Panda before.

Hi guys, I have solved the problem.

Seems that can only renew after license fully expired.
