PS4 slim = same as original Ps4. Small, lighter, different look. No Optical port (if you need it). no more swappable HDD cover for different designs. Uses less electricity. Cheaper.

PS4Pro = Upgraded PS4. Gives out 4K signal to 4k TV (if you own one.)
Supports HDR, wide colour gamut etc etc (all the next gen TV stuff)
Supports Sony's 3D Audio technology
More powerful processor, supported games will respond accordingly and provide better graphical improvements, better frame-rate, even on an original PS4 on a non-4k tv. Especially significant with some PSVR games.

If you own or already own a 4K tv, then go for ps4pro.

If not, or if you are the casual type of gamer, play a lot of free smartphone games type, then get the slim. But if you intend to play ps4 games regularly, maybe it is better to get the ps4 pro.

What he said. my suggestion would be a tid bit different though. They're marketing xbox's project scorpio as the most powerful system yet, complete with 4k output, better processor and stuff. assuming it is in fact the most powerful system, get ps4 slim now and wait til holiday 2017 and get the project scorpio then.

for HDR capable TVs, please take note, there are 2 standards of HDR driven by different companies, HDR 10 and Dolby Vision. PS4 and XBoneS only supports HDR 10. So if 4K TV is your main reason to get a PS4pro, make sure your TV supports HDR 10.

Actually most current 4K TV has fake/non-standard HDR implementation, from HDR pro to HDR plus and lack 10 bit panels that support the correct color space. Also OLED is rated different from the LED TVs.

Best is ensure the TV is really certified for HDR10 (only latest model has it, so if you want one better wait till 2017 or later) with at least 1000 nits brightness for LCD, 540 nits minimum for OLED.

Dolby Vision is 4000 nits, no standard consumer(not 1% rich population of the world) TV support that yet...

The amount of power consumption used will also be astounding too. lol.

good suggestion, but you should decide based on the games you want to play though.... if Xbone catalogue is your thing, then yea, scorpio would be a good choice.

for most muscle power, there is only 1 choice : PC

going forward games on xbox will be available on PC
so if you have a decent pc like me no point going for scorpio

ps4 however have very good exclusives. so it's recommended to get ps4 pro, after all the extra gpu power will be useful

For the features to work on PS4 Pro, the games must have also the feature right? Right now current library of games not many have the PS4 Pro feature thingy?

Can I know whats the really different between this 2?

Any advise.

PS4 and PS4 pro?

RegularPS4 (Now PS4 slim) is small and lightweight. it's cheap and got no 4K, no optical port, no swappable hdd cover option. is power-efficient.

PS4ProThink of it as PS 4.5. It has better processor and GPU and can support 4K resolution. But you need to have a 4K TV for that. It also has support for HDR and Sony's 3d audio tech. Also offers better frame rates on titles that sometimes produce choppy framerates over the regular/slim ps4.

The most notable difference is the option to support 4k TV(also known as those curved TVs) or to put it simply the new generation of televisions that are like super crystal clear & sharp images those kind... the hindsight is that ps4 pro uses up a lot of energy & might also heat up ur system pretty easily.. best is to stick to PS4 for now until they have perfected the system inside the PS4 PRO.. probably might as well wait for PS5 to be released.
