Cleared 3 hours of PRIME95 testing and 30mins of AIDA64.

Running on 3.9Ghz core clock, 1.38 vcore. Temperatures steady at around 65C. Quite pleased with the result. Trying to see if able to push to 4Ghz next!

your rams are on default 2133mhz?

Exceeding 1.4v is not worth the 0.1ghz imo due to the excessive heat and power consumption. Just saying.

Try to see if you can hit it within 1.4V.

I will probably wait till everything get ironed out before banking my money on them...

Waiting for massive price cut from team blue as well hence won't rule out defecting back. :s22::crazy:
The first outcome seems to be more possible than the second one. :s13:

Managed to boot with 3.975 and running fine with 1.38Vcore. Tried upping to 4Ghz and boot failed at windows login. Alas...

^ nice :)

but fyi, try to cover 90-95% memory
currently at 800x12 / 16000 only abt 60%

thanks, ive tried before anything more than 850 will trigger page file :vijayadmin:,
some programs seem to eat up my ram even when idling, just opening up chrome 1 tab and steam already used 4gb ram .....

think might be a combination of cam/sound blaster software and some window shet that i didnt turn off.

will try to find those culprits and test again during weekend

Dear thunderlord :s34:

make a linux mint bootable usb run GSAT will solve the headaches for checking memory stability compared to memtest on windows.

Can use a tool like rufus on github to put the iso on a flash drive. If no errors good liao.

oic, if ur using the pc during testing tats understandable
90-95% is only leave little breathing room just for os
kiv most mem testing usually done outside of windows, so as to test as much mem as possible...

sry i meant u usually see pple test mem in dos environment outside of windows...
windows & linux will still take more mem compared to dos, but hci memtest for windows & gsat (linux) they say more stringent & find errors faster

for gsat (google stressapp test) u can try what Encrypted11 mentioned. u'll need
linux mint iso
rufus
usb stick (ur files inside will be deleted?)
instructions 1,2

Hi guys,

My temps using the stock cooler is too high for my liking. What AIO r you using? Seems like not many have AM4 brackets.
