Hey mate, let me share with you my decision.

After reading so many reviews and watching countless of youtube reviews. Finally I got the courage to spend $45 and bought my Morris Motley Treatment Styling Balm in late April.

I can tell you there is 0 doubt on its quality. Strong weightless hold. Keeps my hair free of grease even after 1 long day at work. 99% of the product is rinsed off just using water. My doesnt dry out even I used alot on my hair. (My hair is medium length and is quite difficult to style my fringe.)

If you have tried countless of brands, its time to go for Morris Motley. If its your first time paying so much for a hair styling product. I would say its worth it than wasting $ on different brands and end up still getting Morris Motley.

Not at all buddy. I had RTs at Bedok camp with my styled hair after work. After the session, my hair is still styled nicely after that with some slight fly aways. As it is reworkable, just restyle it again in toilet.

no pros and cons. is what you're looking for.
if you want fixated like hair spray dont touch it kind, sticks to it. Uevo range.
you want solid hold with flexibility to restyle or look natural, morris motley.
if you want heavy and ultra hold machiam glue, by vilain gold digger wax or some other pomade outside

yes, just shampoo and its gone

yes, somehow or rather it will affect.

This is WORST hair groom RESELLER SITE in the market/world. Worse than all other LOCAL sites. a dot com sg site trying to act atas. Look at the site probably used a freelancer for FREE to design. Not even worth 30cents. There is a primary reason why such a site will never get global awareness.

Feel free to add if I miss out anything.

Tldr: Is MM chrome strong enough to keep medium, thin and fine straight hair in place for a day spent mostly indoors?

Hey bros! After reading through some posts, i decided to ask you guys for help.

I have straught fine medium length hair, planning to grow it longer. I style my hair mostly slicked backed, with slight volume. I have stray hairs that will never stay in place (even my barber commented my hair has ADHD).

Therefore my question is would MM be strong enough to hold an entire day? Mostly i head to work/school/gym, will be indoors. Thinking of trying MM Chrome as i like shine but i am worried about the holding strength.

I have tried pomades from oil based (Goon grease, Daimon, Odouds, Reuzel) they are great but the heat here never goes well with oil based. Water based pomades that hardens work well for me, i have tried Reuzel Blue and Red, Gonzo, Daimon and Lufts. So far Gonzo and Lufts perform the best on my hair, holds them in place throughout the day.

Yeah honestly I don't like it when the lines are blurred like that. What is a "normal" haircut? If u ask me, anything with a fade falls under "gentleman" haircut since that's the trend now. They should be more specific.

Sent from Samsung SM-N920I using GAGT
Normal hair cut is slope+cut nia. That's the old school barber standard mah.

Fade needs a little more skill leh so reasonable to pay a little more if they have a higher price tier.

Whats the recommendation if I want matte finish for long hair?

Bro, personally I am using Morris Motley Treatment Styling Balm. It has an excellent hold, washes off with just water, makes my hair fresh and non oily even after a day's work.

I think you can read up this thread. Morris Motley is probably the 1st choice for most of the bros here.

Hi, apart from MM, do yall have any recommendations for lightweight preferably clays which has a strong hold and is easily washed off? Personally I use smooth as prestyle and DC as post style but end of the day when washing off my hair gets into a sticky clump :(
