Tengawa Hokkaido White Curry

Tengawa Hokkaido White Curry

Quite interesting. Apparently the first restaurant in Singapore to serve Japanese white curry. Both chicken katsu and ebi fry was very crunchy, and the savoury white curry suits my taste very well.

The best is the truffle-oil chawanmushi  it was so yummy!

Miso soup was normal though. Also not a fan of their preserved veg.

Had two of the McDonald's Nasi Lemak Burgers yesterday, not too shabby for a burger. The sweet and mildly spicy chilli sauce coupled with sautéed onion and slices of cucumber on top of a piece of crispy coconut-flavoured juicy chicken thigh patty sandwiched between semolina buns was pretty sedap. Defintely put KFC’s Zinger Burger to shame now that their chicken cannot make it.

I just clicked on the youtube video above my post, the chicken is really small in the video. No wonder EDMW people are saying the same thing too. I didn't buy it myself, got my sis to tabao for me.

So the size of chicken is like heng-sway one? Depending on branch of McDonald's you go to and also the server preparing the burger? :s8:

I didn't know there are different in sizes to the chicken. I would expect McDonald to have better QC. Anyway, the chicken is thick and crispy yet still juicy. Zinger Burger used to be nice too but now the chicken is thin and dry.

I hardly eat fast food too, maybe once in a few months or longer.

Walked by BreakTalk after work and chanced upon the Gula Melaka Pandan Chiffon. Usual price is S$4.50 for one small cake which is way too expensive but two for S$7 sound much more acceptable. The moist fragrant cake is given a slight twist by the additional of bite size Gula Melaka pieces. Imagine the sugar rush when you bites into one of those palm sugar bits, which I actually find a bit sweet for me though mum likes it.
