My trusty Sony viao Z lifespan is coming to an end after 7 years. And Sony no longer manufacture PC. Am looking for a 15" laptop, light gaming, mainly for charting, surfing. Reliability is important to me.

I looked at Dell xps15, but reviews on Amazon are less than good.

You can also consider Asus Vivobook Pro 15 N580VD, HP Pavilion 15-BC221TX or BC222TX and HP Pavilion Power 15. All of them have a GTX1050 for their graphics card.

Some of the review videos are in Thai (wasn't able to find in English) but they will let you have a general idea of the laptop's features and performance.

(1) Asus Vivobook Pro 15 N580VD

(2) HP Pavilion 15

(3) HP Pavilion Power 15

Range from $1300 to $1900, can get cheaper during IT shows. Go to the shops to have a feel and bargain.

Hi which 15.6" laptops have slim bezel? I know Asus UX530 is one of them. Thanks.

Whats the SSD in it?
And what's the wifi module?
Seems like good price for the specs.
Thanks.

How much u bought ? Why in the end chose ideapad ?

Got it at challenger yesterday. Got the i7 model, 1899.

I have 100 vouchers, so got it at 1799.

I decided to get 14" instead of 15" cos 15" is heavy on my lap. 14 is a good compromise as I still wan to get a larger screen. My current is only 13.1"
