So have anyone tried??! Worth the queue?

I usually avoid city sq and komtar like the plague. Lol. Things there always cater to Singaporeans so more expensive. But I might drop by as a last stop after KSL/TC to buy food and snacks to bring back. I like to buy the crepe from city sq, usually will buy 2 or 3 back and eat one there. Even thou it's not crispy, it's also nice to to eat.

Original is more dense and got 2 layers of cheese for the cheese flavour. Ah ma is less dense and only 1 layer of cheese.

Bought Original for the first time today.

My piece has "undercooked" bottom layer ... :( yikes

Top part is ok, but bottom is undercooked ... tomorrow will post a picture

will stick to Ah Ma cake, bought many times no problem

Did you get the Frozen Chocolate? I read from 8days they say it's nice.

Apparently that's the original one from Taiwan as well, together with Le Castella. The Ah Ma is Malaysian imitation.

I stay away from original after I had tried it in Taipei last week...worse than ah ma. It was just taken out from oven and it was "cold"...

I tired Original Cake.

I quite like the original flavour as it is very fluffy.
I did not really like the cheese flavour as there was not really not enough cheese.
The frozen chocolate is a bit too sweet at first bite and it become too bitter.

I will go back and buy more of Original's original cake.

Each individual stick has a label. So it is very easy for them to check whether it is a duty-paid one or not. Only a matter of whether they want to check.

https://www.moh.gov.sg/content/dam/.../2014/COS 2014/Details on Tobacco Control.pdf

" In 2009, Singapore became the first in the world to mandate compulsory labelling of all Singapore duty paid cigarette with “SDPC” on the individual sticks. This move is a measure to visibly differentiate duty paid cigarettes from contraband cigarettes."

How about beer. If I buy 1 can of beer say $1 with 5% alcohol how much will I be charged? And pay after customs? If I pass customs they never stop me then no need pay? :D

Cake looks okay to me leh.

To the guy asking about the crepes, I believe it's the row of shops near Uniqlo, selling snack foods. Personally I avoid those places because they don't look too appetizing. Only exception (albeit pricey one) is Kimdo BBQ. Adore the chili.

Does any one know if have taxis at ciq 2nd link? Malaysian side.

No taxi stand in 2nd Link. I'd suggest taking a CW bus and go to Gelang Patah (short distance away) to get your taxi/Grab/Uber.

Or just take the CW bus if there's one that happens to be heading to your destination.
