Thanks!

No budget really... Just looking for some recommended places that can fill our tummies and make us want to go back for more!

Heading to Pasar Karat and maybe Meldrum walk after for snacks too!

For Mount Austin, I would recommend Kobo BBQ. This is their webpage:
http://www.kobobbq.com/

But, if you can go to Taman Molek which is near Mount Austin, then I would recommend Tanba:

Tanba has another branch near Taman Century. But based on review, the one at Taman Molek is better.

Possibly the cheapest one is the Asli Seafood. Not sure if it still around. Route map below.

But I would say the most highly recommended would be the Tian Lai Restaurant at Gelang Patah. Route map here:

Thanks so much for your suggestion. Will google more info for these 2 recommendation.

Other notable mentions at Gelang Patah are
Star Chef: http://johorkaki.blogspot.com/2014/05/seafood-in-johor-gelang-patah-at-star.html
and
Chua Kee: http://johorkaki.blogspot.com/2015/11/chua-kee-seafood-galang-patah-johor.html

I don't like to go to Tian Lai because of the very very limited parking lot.

If you want a proper restaurant (with aircon), then I would recommend Restaurant Loon Sing 隆盛佛跳墙酒家 at Bukit Indah

If u travel frequently eg every weekend, and is Starhub post paid subscriber, can consider the monthly 2gb for $15

To check DataTravel status & balance (SMS CHECK to 6818). Overseas SMS charges apply. Or surf at $10/100MB/24hrs (20% surcharge for PAYR).

I use either a Malaysian prepaid card, or the M1 prepaid MCard which allows me to use the existing data in Malaysia and a few other countries without additional charge.

Hi,

May I know roughly how long is the jam at the causeway on Sat late morning?
The hotel check-in is around 2-3pm, I'm thinking what time to set off from home.
