How To Save Windows 7 On CD-ROM ?

i got a cheapo pc with Windows 7 installed when i bought the pc.........so how do i save the OS on CD-ROM ?:s11:

sure hope it's not too complicated:o

You can't. After installed + all the patches, the size of windows is about 16GB. Most ppl would use cloning software such as Acronis to clone an image out and store it on a portable hdd.

Either that or you use a product key finder to extract it out and download the windows 7 iso from the internet.

When your OS crashed or slowed down, just perform a clean format and use the product key to activate again.

to save OS on disc, u need more than just one CD rom XD

its better to follow tungsten 2nd post. more effective.

but den again win 7 by then probably wont have much support in later year.

Backup is one method.
Usually new laptop &or desktop without OS Disc do have one Recovery feature.
That's backup the OS via Recovery to CD or DVD.
But it only allow to do it once.
Thereafter will not be available.

But do note that you do not have any updates.
Hence I prefer to clone Win 7 system partition to external HDD regularly, ie after several Win updates.

-paste the below text
-save as productkey.vbs
-double click on the vbs and you will be able to check your product keys.
