Before you get a new one, try unlocking bootloader then flash a custom ROM. Install a battery friendly kernel or under-volt CPU to get better battery life; less heat also.

By den again with SD 625 is already a power-effiecent SoC, still need to down-to-earth it?

Yeah, the SD 625 is already very power and heat friendly. However, it can be even more friendly if you apply a few simple tweaks.

Doesn't really hurt, it took like 5 mins of my time ;)

Guys, I dunno why, I simply cannot install TWRP on the phone.

Everytime I flash the img file to the phone via fastboot, after that upon selecting the option to boot to system, it will go blank.

Did you use this command (temporary) :
fastboot boot recovery.img

or this one (permanent) ?
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

Better to rename twrp name to recovery.img

It's @lways on locked bootloader. U have to go over to the settings in developer to unlock it.

Yes this is what I did.

Anyway, from what I had been reading online, it seems that the TWRP doesn't seem to work for newer models of the XRN4X which use a newer display panel, and that the TWRP has to be rewritten to take that into account.
