would be more popular if they bring in xa2 instead of ultra
not many enjoy such a wide screen

I had seem more people carrying bigger phones than 5.2" display or smaller.
Maybe more people bought bigger phones than last time.

I think 5.5" is just the right size and big enough.
5.9" imo is way too overkill.

I carried one of my friends' 5.9" and it really felt very bulky and not pocket-friendly

for me though, I am using 4.6" XZ1C but feel like selling it to get the 5.5" XA1+ cause my eyes feeling more strained if I look at small screen for too long as I grow older

I feel you too.
I used to own compact series and felt I could do better with bigger screen size.

L2?Will the dual sim even works?

L2 only support 4G+2G dual SIM.

In Taiwan, Sony Mobile TW market it as a single SIM device despite the phone itself support dual SIM.
Not too sure how Sony Mobile SG will market it.. :o

Well, so far only XA2 Ultra firmware appeared...no Sg firmware for standard XA2 yet...

Weird for Sony to release Ultra first. XA2 should sell better than Ultra since 6.0" screen is not fully accepted yet...

Actually, I see more XA Ultra series' phones outside than XA series' phones. :o

6" will soon be the norm, in the form of 18:9 display.

I think so too.

But weird Sony did not announce the XA2s together. So I doubt XA2 will be out in February

I think it is not really weird.

There is XZ1 for the 5" size display but there is no flagship phone at 6", if there are consumers looking to buy sony phones.

XA2 Ultra isn't considered "flagship", it's more like "upper midrange".

Now really wondering when XA2 will be out, to me XA2U is just too big. Even the iPhone 6S Plus that I'm using now sometimes feels too big for my pocket lol.

And since it's a Snapdragon device like those flagships, really hope LTE-A interband-CA and VoLTE is supported across the Big Three. Previous XA devices all use MTK chips and therefore interband CA and VoLTE are not supported.

Correct. I did say there is no big sized flagship phones for Sony.
This includes XA2U.
