hi everyone, i applied for this card and was just informed of the approval. Looking forward to learn of the benefits of this card from all the 'old birds' here.

cheers

for me, the use is mostly on the lounge.

Sometimes i get the Voyage section to handle my flight arrangements.

Congratulations on your card. The presentation was quite impressive when first delivered to me

By paying the annual fee, you still get the miles.

$488 = 15,000 miles
$3210 = 150,000 miles
$10000 = 500,000 miles

kinda pricey amount to pay for miles.

if there is no difference between premier and non-premier, then there is no point to maintain 200k and to become a premier.

The difference is that Voyage Premier earn 1.6 miles for each S$1 local spending.

In ibanking, click rewards (top right corner) and then transaction history.

Yes, the annual fee in the first statement. If your annual fee is $488, you get 15,000 voyage miles, for annual fee of $3210 or $10,000, the voyage miles will converted to krisflyer miles.

since it's more worth it to convert to KF miles, does it mean its also more worth it to get the 3.2k or 10k sign up instead of the 500 one?

It depends on whether you need the miles or not, for $3210 or $10,000 annual fees, you will be given krisflyer miles not voyage miles. Krisflyer miles expire in 3 years.

Also, you need to redeem business or first class tickets to make it worth it.

off topic abit

so for KF miles in general, only save up and redeem for biz and above flights?

if you are paying $488 annual fee, you will be given 15000 voyage miles (VM) which has no expiry, you can save the VM for future conversion to krisflyer miles. If you are redeeming economy class tickets, it is better to use VM to redeem but in my opinion, it is still not worth it.
