I got the Somfy ZRTSI to Z-wave module from Amazon US and fit it with a adapter like step down adaptor. This module works with almost all Somfy curtain control devices and even the local distro don’t even know there are such devices. With it, you can either voice control your curtain using Samsung smart thing through Alexa, or Logitech Harmony through Alexa. But for the Logitech to work, you need a Z-wave add-on module to the exisiting harmony. I went down this route, reason being I can control curtain based on my pre-set Harmony activities such as “Movie”, and using the harmony remote control to open and close the curtain. Hope it helps.

Researching on voice controlled blinds

hi,....i am in the process of getting the Somfy RTS, connexoon and also samsung home connect pro. Already using Google Home. Looking also at integrating googlehome->Smartthings-somfy rts.

The last leg i understand u gotten a zrtsi from US.
I was just wondering its just like a box that u plug a stepdown adaptor to? I cant really find any pictures of how it looks like and the items in the package.

Really didnt wanna cluster too many devices just to get voice controlled blinds....hence i opted for a Samsung connect home pro (mesh+smartthings hub) to cut one less item from the clutter

is there really no other way other than to add one more device?

Lately, I managed to get a mylink adaptor from amazon, learn the skill on my Alexa and it worked flawlessly. I am not sure if Google home support this.

Hi, thanks for sharing. Not easy to find people setting up complete smart homes.

May I know what’s your experience with your Haiku fans so far? Are you able to integrate it well with routines etc?

Hi,

Guess I replied kind of late. Not frequently online.

Yes. It works great with my Alexa even after 2 years. It connects directly to Alexa through their skills. Just take note that after the last firmware update, the fan speed is control based on % instead of speed 1 - 7.

Hope it helps.

Hi,

I got it from Challenger with member discount. As for getting from Amazon US, so long the power adaptor support 110 - 240V, it will be just fine. I bought one of their base station from Amazon. No problem.

Hope it helps.
