hi all. new user of samsung pay. had my 3rd transaction yesterday for the 1st time of the day. there was no reward point 10 given. any1 had same prb b4 and resolved?

if your transaction is too short a period after the previous transaction, no point is awarded.

A safe duration of 10mins between transactions will be good enough..

Hi, which outlet you manage to scan the voucher? I still can't get mine working... Redeemed last time (not the recent $5 dairy farm voucher)

whether light beam is red or green doesn't matter, cos scanning technology doesn't lie on the colour of the beam.

sometimes you guys cannot scan can be due to several reasons, like your tempered glass got air gap, screen got oil, brightness of screen too dim...

i tried scanning bar code vouchers on healthy 365 before, and i always make an effort to bump up the brightness, though the app itself will be by default change brightness to maximum...

That's right. Samsung pay will activate nfc regardless it's being turned on or off. Whereas Google pay needs to have nfc turned in first. It's the algorithm that makes them different..

What?! Why do I have my NFC turned on the whole time?! Lol
Learned something new today

He means that when you use samsung pay and authorised a transaction, the nfc is auto switch on. And it will switch off when transaction went through, when countdown timer ends or you cancel the transaction.

Oh, thanks for the explanation. One plus point to use Samsung Pay, feel safe to set the NFC Off all the way.
Also not to be distracted by the pop up MSG when the Phone with NFC on touch the Card with NFC function.

Strange, I tried with NFC off but it doesn't work. I tried 3 times at 2 different places, same result. I can see NFC auto on but it doesn't work. So for both places, after the errors, I turn on NFC manually before scanning my iris, it works. I think my set is faulty

Has anyone ever used Samsung pay at DFS. Try buying beer and wine with Samsung pay on my S8 but didn't work. Had to tap my credit card instead.

Anyone experiencing any issue with Samsung Pay? Transaction was approved but there is no point given. And no history transaction too. Very weird leh.
