Would like to check if it's easy to buy the Sagano Scenic Railway ticket in Kyoto if I get it maybe 5 to 6 days before the day of the ride? Just worried that it might be sold out :s11: Klook is selling it at twice the price compared to if I were to purchase in Kyoto itself.

Also, if I'm going to USJ during the 4th week of May (probably on Wed or Thur), would I need an express pass? Not sure if the queues would still be long during midweek.

hello guys, 1st timer to japan/tokyo. i'm planning to do 2 day trips to hakone and kawaguchiko...

good to get the Fuji Hakone Pass right?
https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2358_014.html

for the day trip to hakone, i think i'll probably top up for the romance car. i can top at at the counter where i buy the Fuji Hakone Pass right?

for the day trip to kawaguchiko, do i also get the highway bus tix from the same counter as above or i'll have to go to another bus tix counter and show them the Fuji Hakone Pass? does the bus tix include a return trip?

i think i will follow the sequence/plan as listed here https://highway-buses.jp/course/kawaguchiko-onedaytrip.php

thanks!
The fuji hakone pass only allow 1 round trip from tokyo.
i.e tokyo - kawaguchi - hakone - tokyo, or
Tokyo - hakone - kawaguchi - tokyo
So u will need to get ur own tickets if making 2 day trips.

Hi all,

I will be arriving at Osaka KIX Kansai International Airport around 9am in June

My AirBnb accomodation is nearest to Matsuyamachi Station, but check in is around 4pm only.

Wondering if there any lockers at that station?

not too sure how to use this website, cant seem to find any other lockers.
http://coinlockersearch.com/nanba.html

Hoping to put down luggages (approx 8 pax), explore maybe osaka castle (any other suggestions that are more convenient?), then check in towards late afternoon/evening.

How would you plan the travelling to osaka from airport?

Have you asked the host if it's alright to place your luggages first and return later? Most of the time they should be ok although there might be a cleaning lady tidying up the place. By the time you reach there it should be around noon.

Matsuyamachi looks like a subway stn. such stations r typically small so I doubt there would be alot of lockers. if u need lockers, bigger stations like Namba would be a better bet.

Wa ok...

What's the most efficient way to go that area then?

I'm actually planning 3 days now... Planning to do another day for a hike... In addition to hakone n kawaguchiko...

Mt mitsu-toge

Too bad I can't change my accommodation now so I have to do day trips out of Shinjuku since I stay there

thanks alot! thats a really useful website

from KIX, should i take the nankai railway (Kanku Chikatoku Ticket)
https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2033.html

to namba, put in luggages, then head to osaka castle?
on the way back i can visit dotonburi, then pickup luggages and head back to airbnb at Matsuyamachi?

there dosent seem to be enuff lockers at Morinomiya (near to osaka castle)
https://locker1.exblog.jp/25191679/

(i nd about 6-8 luggage lockers, medium i guess?)

there might be enough at Tanimachi 4-Chome Station (near to osaka castle)
https://locker1.exblog.jp/25191606/

but seems like a gamble.

trying to minimise detours/walking for some members of the family.. thx alot!

ideally if u stay overnight at kawaguchi and hakone, then a fuji hakone will be just nice to cover 3 days there. but since u cant change ur accom and have to do it as day trips, maybe u can calculate and see if it is worth it to get the pass, and get additional single trip tickets to travel back and forth

Skytree can go at 8am. Less queue and will give u much more time to spend at rest of the sites.

End April getting warmer already. Maybe Aircon type of temperature. no need jacket already

If there are that many luggages, those luggage storage shop is easier. But only big stations like shin-osaka and i think osaka has. For lockers, can be hard to get all in the same area.
