Wow. Great info. Thank you so much for your input.
Yes.
Our tap water consists of chlorine and chloromine. Those few dollars a bottle type don't buy.
Seachem prime (solution) or seachem safe (powder) are the most common brands.
Of course there's Baxter, wizz, API stresscoat and/or AquaScience, etc...
I'm personally using AquaScience (powder in 10kg carton). More economical because I've alot of fishes...
so if those cheap ones states it removes chlorine and chloramine means can buy?Cheap de chlorination solution dont remove chloramine. Chloramine can still kill your fish and plants etc.
Make sure bottle say treat both chlorine and chloramine.
Buy the powder form which works the exact same way but much cheaper.
Or age your water for 4 days to a week before using. I use age water mostly. Only during emergency then i use de chlorination solution.

okay thanks! will take a look at itI think it's safer to use those I've mentioned above.
I don't want my fishes to die. Waste money and animal cruelty...
Get the powder type. More economical. One small bottle can last a very long time.

btw, it will come with the scale spoon? so that can know how much to put.
Use an existing sponge filter from main tank and put into quarantine tank. What is the fastest way to setup an immediate quarantine small fish tank? Assuming not maintaining by running it on standby mode. Start from scratch. Thanks
Nice thread! Has anybody seen any sailfin mollies around? Have only seen the orange and white ones in lfs, but haven't seen them around for a long time. Simply love it when they flare their dorsal fins at each other.
any difference between those cheap generic de-chlorination solution versus those expensive or those made for specific type of fish?
Sexpert gorgor !!
