As of today, the rate is 1.6% for 12 months for minimum deposit of $50,000. It takes up to three days to open the account.

Free parking at the bank if you drive.
3 days to open account
3 weeks to close account? Very worried, not normal yo

Close account no need three days.

Actually, it's the same as those Indian banks.

According to the relationship manager. They need time to clear the cheque before they would mail out the statement. Regardless, the deposit value date is the date that the deposit is made.

The bank said that subsequent placement will be cleared on the same day.

It seems that this kind of procedure is normal in some countries.

1.8% coming soon.
SGD very weak nowadays bcos those financial institutions refused to up their interest rates offered sufficiently. For the first time in a very long while, the Malaysian Ringgit has been exceptionally strong against the SGD, causing imports to be much more costly yo
