Surprised to see Tradepac remove Toshiba 8TB HDD from their pricelist. Their 8TB HDD is the best price.

10MB/s means you are only connected to ethernet (100Mb/s)

Your router and PC that is doing the transfer what are they? What router? Pc connected to wireless or wired? If wired isit on 1000Mbps or 100Mbps?

How to test my ds218j speed? That day I saw my transfer also like max 10mb/s
My router is ASUS RT-AC68U I am connecting the NAS direct to 1 of the ethernet port

Go into the Synology dsm portal go network you can see connected speed.

Is your pc connected to 1000Mbps? Go to network and connection center to find out

it says

1000 Mbps, Full duplex, MTU 1500

but only 10mb/s

then all my transfers via mapping and network access are 10mb/s

but when macrium reflect connects to do autoamatic backup via network connection it says 300mb/s

so something is preventing the full speed
