Not sure how old is your feline but check this guide out.

http://kb.rspca.org.au/what-should-i-feed-my-kitten_267.html

By right best not to feed too much prawns but mine goes crazy for it. Will practically manja me until i relent. Since yours kitty also get ready to feed him chicken wing to help their teeth.

i see... am skeptical because scare raw meat will have parasites etc. i think i will stick to wet food first since my kitty is still young.

thanks for the helpful advise though :) will also consult the vet when i bring my kitty for check up

Guys, how do you know when 2 kittens (ard 4-5months) are playing around with each other instead of fighting?

Anyone know any good vet or clinic that does treatment for cancer? My cat may have lung cancer. We are hoping is lungworm but our current vet thinks more likely to be cancer. Want to find a specialist in this field and seek treatment earlier if possible.

If there's no hissing, no screaming, no blood/fur, they're playing. But some cats/kittens can be rather aggressive when playing, so for some cases, can see some fur flying around or even tiny blood (personally I'm not comfortable if it gets to this stage). As far as I know, you will know when 2 cats are fighting, you can hear it from miles away.

I'm so sorry to hear that Craybia. I think wouldn't hurt to get second opinion from another vet perhaps? Unfortunately I cannot help you with suggestion of a specialist vet for cancer.

Oh no.
I don't know if you still want to try, I came across this animal hospital from online during my research for a good vet: http://www.veshospital.com.sg
They need your vet to do a referral though, can't just make an appointment with them directly.
I have not been to them personally, but looking at their equipments and doctors, you might want to try ? Breaks my heart to hear your kitty like that.

thanks for the tip. i found a really good clinic that believes in holistic pet management... they don't just do western taught vet treatment, but TCM, japanese supplements and they taught us what kind of food and water and even what kind of dishes we should be using to reduce cancer incidents. i've never been to a vet like this before and we were very impressed. after feeding all the supplements, can see a definitely 'perkier' cat. so even if there is no cure we just want to make her final days comfortable. it's gentle oak vets at ghim moh. they are very highly recommended.

and unfortunately lung cancer has very poor response to chemo and the side effects of the chemotherapy will probably kill the cat before the actual cancer does...

Hi all. One of the community cats that we are feeding had this on his leg. What's that? Need to see a vet or is there off the shelf human ointment that we can use?
