I was at the launch earlier today so i thought i'd just share some pictures.

What impressed me the most was that Samsung has now integrated the power and data lines into one super slim cable from the panel to the One Connect Box:eek:

These QLED models seem all required external sound bar or sound system.

Almost All TVs have speakers. Whether they sound good .. that's a different matter :)

Guess when you need to watch movie with big screen.
QLED is really impressive. One cable is clean and clever design. Hope this will soon integrate with sound system.

Samsung intends to enforce retail marketing to state clearly if it's a 2017 or 2018 model.

But yes, they do have a different part number and that's yet to be shared. I guess we'll know very soon.

Hi peps,

Any idea what’s the full model of the 2018 QLED? Thanks.

Buyers should beware..
Some less than scrupulous shops which often hold 'expo fairs' may try to disguise the older 2017 edge lit TVs and quietly omit to inform the unsuspecting buyer of the model year...

So check and check..

Precisely.

I pointed out to Samsung on these usual 'suspects' and that could be a potential problem based on their tricky advertising tactics. Sigh.

Harvey is already selling the 2018 Q9F 65-inch for under 7k.

Meanwhile, 2017 Q9F is under 6k.

Can you advise the price of 75" Q9FN (2018 model) and if, in your opinion, is VFM when compared against the 77" C8 (OLED)?

Thx!

Yes, I guesd you will need to wait a while before jump in. Currently the old 2017 seem to have good discount and price is too attractive to believe.

Does anyone have a comparison between 2018 qled and 2017 qled models? I prpesume 2017 qled prices will drop so I would like to see if the new ones are worth the extra cost
