Does any one knows where can I repair/replace my lap top speaker.
Mine lap top is Aspire 5755 and about 3 years old.
Also how much will it cost for the replacement.

Don’t think it would be worth to get it fixed.
Assuming that it’s past it’s warranty period, doing it at Acer will incur a parts plus service / repair cost.

Shops at SLS should not have parts on hand - will probably have to order. You will then incur a mark up on parts plus repair.

Your best bet would to be to fix it yourself, if you are handy and willing to try. Get parts from Aliexpress or EBay and breath new life in your PC :) tbh it’s pretty fun.

Else, getting a Bluetooth speaker / external speaker would be another alternative

This isn't necessary.

Walk around Sim Lim Square. Instead of asking for just the speakers alone, ask the guys if they have BARE SHELLS of the said model (The Acer Aspire).

These "bare shells" are defective because they are missing RAM, HDD, ODD, battery, power adapter, motherboard spoil, display crack, etc.

But this won't be of any problem to you since you are not getting those parts, right?

You can haggle these full bare shells for a good price. How much will depend on your bargaining skills

If the burst on the speaker film is not too serious and you don't not need superb sound, just need to get a more elastic adhesive tape and stick it. :)

I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. :s22:

I've already replaced my old laptop speakers with brand new ones.
