Im looking for gaming laptop, thinking of spending about 2.5k expert please help.

your 2.5k can splurge on entry level alienware already

Also can consider Aftershock for some serious gaming.

I would stay away from Acer gaming laptops. They are unusually noisy.

MSI is worth a look.

BF1 is CPU intensive, go for 8th gen if possible and get a i7...

ASUS is good,

Aftershock was a huge disappointment for me, great specs but tons of bugs.

I got their MX15 pro with 120 hz screen, screen flickers everytime I play BF1 etc... it seems like the screen can't actually handle 120 hz lol..

didnt refund because too troublesome, might as well just use for coding purposes. i would go with asus if i were you, tons of great products coming out, high end with 144 hz options.

I'm planning to get this from asus

oh also consider screen size... if you play games somewhat competitively, switching from 24 inch desktop setup to 15 inch laptops can mess up your aim, get the biggest screen, 17 inch if you're really into your games. Take note though, it's heavy af and costly but you're getting what you paid for...

can update what is the weight when combined with power adapter. online dell store state laptop alone weighs 2.6 kg. thanks

According to notebookcheck.net, the power supply for 7577 is 700g. Guess G7 will be the same.
So G7 is very heavy carry around with power supply.
