hi.... please advise if i have Sony TV with android TV, any reason to get Xiaomi TV box?

Xiaomi box is more flexible. You screw up the firmware, all you lost is $100 +/-.
You screw up the TV, then you have to make sure dealer still allow you to claim warranty.

Anyone got best pricing for Sony 65X8500F? Soundbar, I am looking at CT800 as ST5000 is priced too high.

Got my Sony TV but realized the Google play store apps for Android TV is limited.

Dun even have VIU TV.

Browsing the internet is slow and cumbersome.

I’ve been calling and looking everywhere for the X900E. It has just been discontinued yesterday.

I got the X900F instead. 2399 at Best Denki for the 49 inch inclusive of delivery.

Is it possible to find 49” X900E or just buy X900F 😂

I found one display set 49” X900E selling for $1,499 at Carousell. Not sure is it worth it. Because I not sure it’s retail price & duration of use.

Honestly comes down to your priorities. If you want to be tough on the budget, then it makes sense to get the display set. Personally I’ll take peace of mind and warranty coverage, so I’ll pay the premium since I’m keeping this for at least 3-5 years.

Do be aware that display sets also have very extended usage already, so the shelf life is much shorter.

Apps need to side load, try open developer option change animation scale to 0.5 to speed up.
I off the recommendation bar on top also.

Anyone got the X8500F, X7500F or X8000E? I'm stuck between these 3 models. Any advice and suggestions?

Retail price for X9000e 49" is around $1899 - $2000.
Now hard to find X9000e...except a few stores.. Toa Payoh Courts still have it i think.

Sony stores doesn't carry anymore...they will promote X9000F instead.

i got my X9000e 49" @ $15xx during the Expo fair.
Its a display set...for 3 days. (one of my frd is the sales...they opened a new one for display)

So i just get the display set.

Very worth it.
