SMU/ NUS Accountacy or NTU Mech Engineering

Hello everyone! I was offered accountacy for both SMU and NUS and Mechanical Engineering for NTU. I don't know what course to choose and I know at the end of the day, it is up to me to decide. However, I would like to hear opinions from you all to make me have a clearer idea on what will i be expecting after taking any of these 3 courses. Cheers

These two fields are so drastically different from one another lor. Local acctg grad usually end up in acctg firm but there are rooms in the commercial sector too unless you are damn picky. Seriously I doubt there are many gd job opportunities for mech engr in Sg nowadays.

I picked computer engineering for two of these unis, but i have gotten another choice instead. So i would wish to know, what is the route like if i chose accountancy or mech eng?

Your choices are quite diverse. Did you try the computing courses? Cs infosys/sec?

nus degree allows you to do a second major or minor in computing or engin. With that said, accounting will use up most of your credits. You can minor on your preferred choice

The thing is, now.the industry is looking to recruit more engineers.

Industry oversaturated already. Big 4 doesn't really distinguish you as much anymore.
