Manage to catch a 100% at botanic garden. Jitao max him. Caught many shinies but all CMI. Only one can make it, 15/8/15. lol.

Caught a few 15/13/13 and also evolve them.

Today did community day. Caught 8x shiny larvitars!

In the end evolved 3x smack down/stone edge tyranitar:

3385 CP 93.3% A15 tyranitar SD/SE (powered up to L35)
2902 CP 88.9% A15 tyranitar SD/SE (weather-boosted)
3218 CP shiny tyranitar SD/SE (weather-boosted)

Play 3hrs caught 2 lousy shiny less than lvl 8 at tier 4. Sian. No tier 1 caught until at the dot of 2pm, suddenly caught 3 consecutive tier 1 at 89% but by then I already used up the candies to evolve my best tier 2 n lousy shiny. No choice gotta continue hunting so can evolve this tier 1 within the event extended time to get special move. Really bad luck.
