Xiaomi has announced the Mi Band 3, the latest in the company's popular line of ultra-low-priced wearables. The Mi Band 3 has a bigger, higher resolution OLED screen than the previous model, the Mi Band 2, and Xiaomi says it's more comfortable on the wrist. The company claims the same 20 days of battery life, but water resistance has been upgraded to 50 meters.


My Fitbit Charge 2 lasted for 1.5 years and now consider a cheaper smartband to track my steps and sleeping.

Just tried under the hot sun today, yes visibility of the display is poor.

how to convert to English?

See my #3 post.

1. I installed original Mi Fit App and connect the Mi Band 3 smart band
2. I uninstalled the Mi Fit App
3. I installed the patched apk app from the link
4. It will install the English firmware
5. Once done, you can uninstall the unofficial apk and install the original Mi Fit app, English language will remain.

According to the link, try not to use facebook login as unofficial apk reported do not work.

I am using google mail login.

Bro, can you take a photo of WhatsApp notification??

You can read the message when it alerts or you can go to notification option.

Page 1 , 1st line is animation, it will show what kind of message, in this photo is Whatsapp message. You can swipe to from right to left to go page 2 to see more of the message and other messages. I think it can display up to 5 messages.

Pro
1. Very good battery life. With heavy notification and heart rate tracking, it can last for 7-8 days.
2. Bigger Screen display.
3. Notification History allows to read up to 5 messages.
4. Comfortable wrist strap
5. Price is reasonable cheap

Con
1. Under Sunlight, display screen visibility is poor.
2. No daytime sleep tracking.
3. Mi Fit app always on the mobile screen.
