Nice. thanks for the info! i will probably get news mid july god willing. Did you also apply for senior customs officer? I am banking on these two because I had been offered teaching subjects in which i have no specializations in for NIE post graduate course.

and i think for the ICA inspector position, they will take your BMI at one point. Maybe during the interview date. So keep yourself in shape!

I haven't applied for Senior Customs Officer but would give it a try soon as I'm still waiting for my official transcript document to be handed to me. I submitted for NIE too, but I'm expecting a rejection.

And thanks for the tip!

They will ask basic questions like:
-Tell me about yourself
-Why do u want to join the ICA?
-Have u travel to Malaysia before?
-How do u normally travel by?

That’s all I can remember. Good luck to u :)

Hi guys, i applied for the Direct Entry Sergeant position and i went for my Document & Written test on the 11th of june. I just received an email for my interview on the 26th of june. Recruitment criteria

I am currently employed under SAF. Does anyone have the experience of being accepted in ICA despite requiring 3 month of notice before starting work? :s11:

Hi, i have applied in early March and they only ring me up recently. 1st meet up - Document submission (where u submit ur transcript/ cert, testimonials. etc) , there be a 1 to 1 chitchat session with their officer for us to know the job better, written assessment which is MCQ for profiling. 2nd meet up - Panel interview. Once they contact u for the 1st interview, it is pretty fast. Currently i am waiting for notification whether it is successful. gonna take 1 month as they need to background checks as well.

Hello, have you gonna any reply from them yet?

Hey! Thank you for the heads up it really helped me, the interviewer was friendly as i’m sure they could see i was nervous. Jokes were being passed around and i managed to answer them with ease. Have you received your results after the interview? They said to wait 4-8 weeks for the outcome here’s the best to us!

Few days ago received a call to sign a medical screening form. Apparently, it’s a new thing but that’s just part of the application/pre-employment process and just did that today. All i know is my interview was kinda rough. Hoping for good news tho :(
