Hi all, I'm looking to build a pc and buy a 1060 or 1070 ti card for my setup. Is it advisable to wait for the newer series to come out or buy the card now?
But then all you are hoping is that you can get the new card at msrp. And assuming the msrp is not higher than the 10 series cards.Same dilemma over here. The 7.7 deal seems good but it's still above msrp so I would rather sit out.

Well, last heard nvidia is stuck with lots of stock and I am hoping to grab cheaper 10 series card when 11 comes out. Not in a hurry so I can wait.
As cheap in what way? U need define which 10 series u want, those gpu in the higher series normally are for 4k/144mhz monitor to make it even..
If you using 1080p or 1440p you dont even need high range gpu also..
Jun say july come out. July come liao say Aug. Haiz.... will come or not...

If you are not in hurry to get it, i.e. dying GPU, then no reason to get worried. It will arrive for sure by this year. Nvidia can hold as long as they want, but with their GTX 11xx series sitting in warehouse over a prolong period of time is going to hurt them as well.

It is advisable to advise others on what your usage/purpose/games played/monitor used are so that the community may better advise you on your advisable needs.
