surely surely there must be a better goalkeeper than Karius out there.
Klopp backing Karius isn't about his belief in Karius' ability rather it is blind faith now. You could see Karius' confidence is all gone after that Final and he hasn't recover. I don't understand why Klopp want to throw him under the spotlight so soon. Even mistake in his warmup got pick up and spread like wildfire on the internet. Klopp is reckless and may ultimately hurt Karius more.
We got away with it last season when we didn't sign a centre defender and stick with Matip, Klavan and Lovren. Don't think we should pull that sort of stunt again with our goalkeeping dept.....
Unfortunately, that is the DNA in Klopp.
It happened in Moreno, Lovren and now Karius.
There is nothing wrong in backing your player when they made some mistakes along the way.
But, players who committed mistake at key matches may be an indication of the player mental weakness.
At this point, do you still want to gamble on the player on the expense of the progress for the whole team ?
Do you want the rest of the players to fight their way to a Final and let down by the individual mistakes of some players who already show that tendency or weakness ?
Do you want to listen or stick to your ego when the whole world is telling you to tackle that issue and you are closer to bring the metal back to the cabinet ?
It is not forgetting that you are wrong on the ** and RB issue after so many seasons of reminders.
How much longer do you want your players to wait to stand on the podium and sing We are the Champion ?
And for the fans to wait for you to resolve all weaknesses in one transfer window and not keep on dragging ?
