If you have 100k, how and where would you invest to have it accumulate to 1mil in 10years in Singapore? Considering lowest risk too.

Would it be Shares and REITS? Doubt it would be property with the recent increase in ASD by the g.

Some people claim that they made 50% per annum on tech stocks. Will it reach $1M in 10 years?

I believe that is possible IF you are already working or have in-depth knowledge of the tech industry and landscape. Tech landscape is volatile with tech disruption and innovations. If you don’t pay attention, keep yourself updated or understand the tech company’s strategy, it’s very risky.

its easier to upgrade yourself and find a job that pays $100k a year salary, then after 10 years, you get $1m.

Don't know if this is a troll thread. Where can you find a low risk high returns investment?

Never fall into this kind of trap. If he has a safe way to make this much, why would he tell you. Unless he is doing MLM, then the more he tell and get you to join. The more he make.

Won't be from local shares or REITS. US penny stocks maybe possible.

Example on 8 May I bought a stock 'Chesapeake Energy Corporation' CHK (3,000 shares) at US$3.07. Sold it on 12 Jun at US$4.98. Yesterday closing was at US$5.19.

For me, my best investments have always been in property....already gained S$1 mil profit though put in more than S$100k through mortgage repayments....but my first EC deposit was around S$60k though I remember....

Still giving me good returns, even my JB one....hopeful that in a few years to come, they can increase my networth to S$2mil.....definitely better than working hard and saving so far in my experience....
