This is as legit as it can get, Since NV have already file the trademark name for Quadro RTX and Geforce RTX.

Its look like there is almost no doubt Turing might be based on a complete new mArch, seeing how a (weird) 2944 cores configuration can beat a 3584 Cores (1080 Ti) by 8%.

Somehow it looks like Nvidia have move up the pricing notch, and that the price you pay for a top high gaming card has become a cut-down mid-range chip. All thanks to no competition.

Wa cui, 2060 and 2050 slower than 1070/1060 respectively

Yes, Nvidia has become the new Intel. AMD is losing its status as a competitor and the market is in the state of monopoly.

The most cui part is you pay the same $700 for a GPU that has 3GB lesser memory and only 8% faster than the one released 1.5 years ago. :s22:

Rumor lah ...... Quote from article itself -

"Now these rumors are coming from pretty far left field, as the majority of rumors on Nvidia’s next GPUs have pointed to 11-series graphics cards. This includes an Aida 64 screenshot that popped up earlier in the week all but verified the Nvidia GTX 1180’s existence – though they interestingly suggest it will be powered by a GV104 Volta core.

Right now, it’s hard to believe any rumor over another, so we’ll take this all with a grain of salt. Luckily, we can all soon get away from this speculation as we race onwards to Nvidia’s GeForce Gaming Celebration event at Gamescom later this August."

I dont think you can rumor on a official trademark recognition, these thing have to be done on official documents. If its fake it should be exposed right on the spot.

Of cos when its comes to specs its still pretty unconfirmed but the RTX is more or less affirmed. The only thing left now is RTX 2080 or 1180.

Possibly Nvidia has excess inventory and would not want to cannibalize their 1080 Ti sales yet. Hence the high prices for the next gen. Most gamer may still go for 1080Ti due to the higher RAM

still wondering which GTX 1050 and 1060 configuration are they comparing to, since these 2 models are the 1 with so many variant, that the differences isnt that high or much even with ram speed upgrade.

if so, by then it comes to Singapore,
we have to pay $1.1k to $1.3k range for this 8% better than gtx 1080ti?
same price as gtx 1080 2 years back?
or we have to pay a even higher backet?

Lol gtx1080ti gonna be the longest card ever. Come on 8%-15% difference, no one can tell the difference lol. For 100fps you gain 8fps. Lol.
