And what is the price of these AMD GPUs now?

I feel the promotion is good, but the pricing of these GPUs are not attractive locally.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think these are still higher than the SRP when these were first launched in Singapore. Still holding out for miners to come back and snap them up I suppose.

Newegg Rx 580 8GB can go for as low as US229 (SGD330 ish). Don't understand why SG still selling so ex even after factoring in 7% gst...

Import tax, distributor tax, change hand tax to shop front, shop front earning, and finally gst.

After factoring all those, there you have it. Local price lol

Lol looks at the pc parts price for local vs US

You may trade freely, but pricing have no standard to it. It is dependent on market supply and demand (and greed?)

End of the day, willing buyer willing seller.

Ex mean ex. Paying 1K for a Vega64 make no sense here because at a bit more you can get a GTX1080TI which eat the Vega64 alive.

This I agree. In fact I also feel Vega 56 is too closely priced to Vega 64. With it being close to 1K, while it's main competitor, GTX 1070Ti being priced below 700 bucks just made it redundant.

FreeSync with AMD, yes. But that is because G-Sync monitors carries a premium, while not really the case for FreeSync, which is the main advantage. But the hefty premium on the AMD cards locally negates the advantage.
