yes, took this route before. sit until sian cos got a lot of traffic lights. So to save some travel time, i alight at the border of the nm, 下湳仔 bus stop. save a few stops.

Nice sharing.
It is just bad traffic in taichung.
Hope 林佳龍 improves on it.

Full fledged airline (Eva, SQ, China Airlines): $400+ on average
Eva timing not so good compared to the two

Budget Airline (Scoot, Jetstar): $160+ onwards for two inclusive of taxes
excluding optional add on: luggages, meals, seats selections , etc

Accomodations: Most would like to stay XMD area
sun to thu - 3* hotel at xmd about 40+ to 60+ onwards
fri to sat - 3* hotel at xmd 80+ to 120+ onwards
usually room size not big, 12m2 to 20m2 on average ...
most hotels do not have their own buildings

if u are going solo, if your budget is not so high, can consider staying some of the cheaper hotels in xmd area, such as one plus one, cheers, review not so good... but pricing can be as low as 30+ per nite ...

Apologies guys, it was kind of an impromptu decision this morning when I wake up that I want to go. Feel kinda loserish not stepping into taiwan my whole life. Alright, shall set aside 1k as budget. As for what to do still haven’t research but thank you all for replying. :)

ur flight always damn good price one
400+ full fledge has to be on promotion + condition, like minimum 2 to go, 30-120days advance book

scoot 160+ also has to be also returb-for-free promo

it’s not like anytime can gt kinda deal

Promo must see dates ma.
160-180not hard to grab. If you want to go anytime. Sometimes full fledged beats last min travel.

If you intend to fly js, can always ask price match. But to save 10% for comfort, not worthy.

Fly 9-12, means how many days in Tw for 400 dollars?
You call that worthy?
Unless you leave is limited, if not plan elsewhere and do not waste time.
